Writing and Speaking – At the Park
It’s time to revise the grammar we’ve been working on in class.
Take a look at this park scene
On this worksheet, use “was/were” to write six sentences to describe what was happening in this picture, and include another six sentences using “wasn’t/weren’t”. Here’s an example: A man was running in the park. A girl wasn’t running in the park.
Then, based on the picture, think about three questions you can ask a partner in class using the question form, “Was he/she…?/Were they…?”. Here’s an example: Was a man painting the lake? or, Were the children painting a picture?
